Global Curriculum Reading Group

8 sessions designed for busy teachers to discover ‘what we learn’, ‘why we learn it’ and ‘how we learn it’.

We meet online as a group for 1-hour in a seminar-style format. Our aim is to explore ways in which we can positively develop an aspect of our teaching.

Each session is structured around a specific theme and a series of thought-provoking questions.

Prior to each session, material will be available to create discussion points and open engagement pathways.

Local to Global Project

The project enables pupils to become knowledge creators where their work is used to inform, educate and inspire local, national and international communities.

Delivered in 6 half-termly workshops.

At the end of each workshop, pupils will be challenged to complete a task with a specific social-activist objective.

The project will culminate in an end-of-year Diversity Day event in which project participants across a number of schools will come together to organise a workshop day for younger pupils in their schools to celebrate the diversity of stories.

Global
Teaching Project

This is a transformative project which is rooted in connection and collaboration.

We will work together to develop a module of work which not only centres non-Western voices, stories and experiences, but integrates global knowledge acquisition and pedagogies.

We will develop impact measurement strategies which prioritise pupil voice.

School
Values

Students work together to identify core human values that reflect an ongoing commitment to inclusivity, respect and equality.

The project runs a series of 6 workshops where students will discuss what values they believe have guided school policies, behaviours and educational goals.

Sessions will include activities designed to explore the concepts of identity, privilege, and systemic racism, allowing students to reflect on their own experiences and the broader social context.
